### Field Trip

Students should come to school tomorrow (Tuesday, 5/23) with comfortable shoes that can get wet and a small water bottle. We are going on a walking field trip to Budd Inlet. Due Wednesday is an assignment called"Thinking About Statistical Questions." It is only available in class.

A rough draft of the whole project is due Monday. Student had time today in class to collaborate with like-mined scientists as well as begin step four on the handout. Some students have decided to rethink the way they organized the data. That is fine! Data analysis is an iterative process.

### Finish Reading and Make Your Own Data Set

Thank you so many families for returning the field trip permission forms. This weekend a number of students have borrowed a textbook to finish reading about the role of stems and leaves in the health of plants.
